Do's and Don'ts of Babywearing |
|
Do's:
The sling cups the shoulder, and the rings are in corsage position, in between the shoulder bone and the breast.

Baby’s legs are bent, with knees higher than the bottom. The legs are wrapped around the wearer’s body.

The fabric is spread across the back as wide as possible. This will make the sling more comfortable.

Don'ts:
The sling rests on the neck. This can cause neck pain.

Baby’s legs are hanging straight down. Baby could slip out from the sling.

The fabric is bunched up around the back, causing discomfort.
