Threading the Sling
- Spread the fabric out, making sure it is not twisted. Hold the rings in one hand, the end of the sling in the other.

- Insert the fabric into both rings.

- Hold the rings apart, and insert the fabric in between the two rings and through the second ring.

- Pull the fabric through.

- Pull out about 4 inches of fabric from between the rings. Fan the fabric out as much as possible. This will make it easier to adjust your sling.

- Pull the fabric neatly through the rings until it’s nice and taut.

Wearing and Adjusting the Sling
- Hold the sling with the same hand where you want to wear your sling (i.e. right hand for right shoulder, left hand for left shoulder). Slip your opposite arm through the loop of the sling.

- Bring the sling over your head and place on your shoulder. The rings should be on corsage position, in the hollow between your shoulder and your breast. You may want to start with the rings a little bit higher than corsage position, since they may slip lower when you put your baby in and when you adjust the sling.

- Adjust the sling so that it rests on your shoulder. Spread the fabric out across your back. This will prevent neck and back pain.
- Pull on the tail to tighten the sling. The outer edge of the tail corresponds to the inner rail, and the inner edge corresponds to the outer rail. The middle part of the tail corresponds to the body of the sling. Leave just enough room to slip the baby in. This will lessen the need to make a lot of adjustments later.

Cradle Carry and Reverse Cradle Carry
- Put the sling on. Tighten the inner rail so that it is snug against your body.

- Carry your baby in the cradle position. For the Cradle Carry, the baby’s head should be on the same side as the rings. For the Reverse Cradle Carry, his head should be opposite the rings. Cross his feet.

- Open the pouch by holding out the outer rail. Lower your baby in, bottom first. Baby should not be parallel to the rails. Instead, he should be positioned about 45 degrees to the rails, head closer to the outer rail and feet to the inner rail.

- Keep supporting your baby with one hand, while tightening the sling with the other hand. Your baby should be snug against you.

- Make sure the baby’s chin is not resting against his chest.

- You’re now ready to go!

Football Carry (For breastfeeding)
- Start with the rings high on your shoulder.
- Place your baby in the sling using the cradle carry.
- Place one hand on the rings and one hand under your baby, and shift them together towards your back until the baby is in the football position, his head level with your breast.
- You’re now ready to nurse!
Front Carry
- Put the sling on. Tighten the inner rail so that it is snug against your body.

- Hold your baby up high with his back against you. Cross his feet.

- With your other hand, hold the pouch open, and gently slide your baby in. Your baby should be facing out.

- Adjust the rails, keeping your hand on your baby until you're sure he's safely supported by the sling. He should be snug against you.

- You’re now ready to go!

Tummy-to-Tummy Carry and Hip Carry
- Put your sling on. Adjust the rails so that there is a little room for your baby to slide in. Hold your baby.

- Lift your baby up over your shoulder, opposite the rings. Insert your other hand under the rails, and guide his feet into the sling.

- Slide your baby into the sling, while opening up the pouch at the same time. For the Tummy-to-Tummy Carry, position baby in front of you. For the Hip Carry, position baby on your side.

- The baby should be sitting in the pouch, against your tummy or against your hips. Make sure his legs are bent, with knees higher than his bottom.

- Keep a hand under your baby while adjusting the rails. Your baby should be snug against you.

- You’re now ready to go!
