We know that being a parent can be exhausting, which is why we’ve made it our mission to make your shopping experience here fun, easy and enjoyable!

We hope the following information provides answers to any questions you might have, but should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Ordering


  1. Do I need to register for an account in order to shop?

    No, we won’t force you to create an account with us. However, creating an account makes shopping at The Eco Baby Boutique even easier! By becoming a member, you can:

    • Easily check your order status and order history
    • Enjoy faster checkout
    • Receive special offers
    • Be the first to know about giveaways, sales, and new arrivals
    • Membership is free!
  1. How do I register?

    Simple! Just click on "Register Here" on the Member Login box at the right of the homepage, or click on "Guest" at the top of the page. Fill in the required information, and click on "Send Registration".

    Notice: As a security measure, an email containing an activation code will be sent to your email address. Click on the code in the email to activate your account; otherwise, you won't be able to log-in.  After you activate your account, you can then log-in using the userame and password you provided during registration.

  1. How do I order?

    Simple! Just click on the product categories on the left. Click on a product thumbnail to view larger pictures and product details, and if you would like to purchase it, select the necessary attributes, then click on the Add to Cart button. Repeat the process to continue shopping, or click on Checkout to submit your order.

    Ordering online is the fastest and easiest way to shop.  But if for some reason you prefer not to use our Shopping Cart, you may also order via email. Please include your complete name and shipping address, and specify which items you would like to order, how you would like to pay, and whether you would like to insure your package.

    Notice: Upon checkout, you will notice that the shipping cost is 0. We will confirm your order via email within 24-48 hours, with a calculation of your order total including the shipping cost, insurance cost (if any), and any applicable discounts, along with the payment details.

  1. Can I add items to my existing order?

    Yes, you may add items to orders which are still in the processing stage. You may use the Shopping Cart to submit a new order (please indicate that these are additional items to your pending order), or you may also send us an email of which items you would like to add, and we will gladly combine the shipment for you. Please note that the shipping rate may change depending on the total weight or volume of the package.

  1. An item that I would like to purchase is out of stock or unavailable. Can I pre-order?

    We accept pre-orders and reservations; a deposit of 20% is required. For pre-orders of special items not normally carried in our store, the deposit is non-refundable.

  1. I would like to see/try on the items before I purchase. Do you have a shop where I can go to?

    We have a mini-showroom located along E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave. in Quezon City, near St. Luke’s hospital. Please contact us to set up an appointment.

    You may also find us at the monthly AWCP Bazaar. Look for our booth within the garments section along the wall.

  1. What are your opening hours?

    Our online shop is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your shopping convenience!

    Our showroom does not have a formal opening/closing time. Please email us to set up an appointment.

Payment


  1. How do I pay?

    We accept the following payment methods:

    • Bank deposit (BPI or Metrobank)
    • Cash on Delivery or COD (applicable to some areas within Metro Manila only)
    • GCASH (please add 1% surcharge)
  1. When do you expect payment?

    Payment is expected within three (3) business days. Failure to complete your payment within the said time frame will result in the cancellation of your order. If you think you will be unable to complete your payment within three days but would still like to continue with your order, please send us an email and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Shipping


  1. How much will shipping cost?

    Shipping costs will vary depending on your location and on the weight or volume of your package. We only charge the actual shipping costs.

    Regular shipping within Metro Manila starts at P50.

    Regular shipping to Luzon starts at P83.

    Regular shipping to Visayas starts at P95.

    Regular shipping to Mindanao starts at P100.

    For same-day delivery (applicable to some areas within Metro Manila only), shipping cost is P70 – P100, depending on your area.

    For COD, shipping cost is P120 - P150.

  1. Which courier do you use?

    For regular shipments, we ship via Xend; we have found them to be fairly reliable and they offer the cheapest rates. If you have a preferred courier, please let us know.

    For same-day delivery and COD, we ship via Pedala. Pedala employs messengers who deliver packages on bicycles, which makes it an eco-friendly alternative to regular couriers.

  1. When will my order be sent?

    Your order will be dispatched the day after confirmation of payment. For COD, cut-off time for delivery is 11am.

  1. When will I receive my order?

    For regular shipping to addresses within Metro Manila, your package will arrive the day after dispatch. (i.e., if you deposit on a Monday, your package will be shipped out on Tuesday, and you will receive it on Wednesday.)

    For provincial addresses, expect your package to arrive after 2-3 days.

    For same-day delivery, you will receive your item the same day as dispatch (i.e., if you deposit on a Monday, your package will be shipped out on Tuesday, and you will receive your order within the day.)

    For same-day delivery with COD payment, you may schedule the delivery at your convenience. (From Mondays to Fridays only.)

  1. I am in a hurry to get my order. Will my package arrive by Friday/2pm/[insert day or time here]?

    Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee when a package will arrive, or whether it will arrive on time. We can only ship out your package on schedule; the actual delivery will rest upon the courier.

    Under normal circumstances, your package will arrive on the time frame specified above. However, there may be special circumstances which could cause a delay in delivery, such as unexpected traffic, heavy rains, inexperienced messenger, etc. Also, the courier cannot guarantee the specific time that a package will be delivered.

    If the item you need is of utmost importance, it would be best to place your order early on, to save yourself last-minute worries. You may also opt for same-day delivery, or drop by our showroom to pick up the items yourself.

  1. Why should I get shipping insurance?

    You may wish to avail of shipping insurance to safeguard against loss. If you don’t avail of insurance, the courier’s liability will be limited to P100. You can insure your package for up to P2,500. Insurance fees are nominal.

  1. In which areas do you accept COD?

    We accept COD on the following areas: Manila, Mandaluyong, Makati, Marikina, Pasay, Pasig, San Juan and Quezon City.

Diapers

(Please read our Guide to Modern Cloth Diapers for more information about cloth diapers!)

  1. What is the difference between Happy Heinys One Size and Fuzzi Bunz One Size diapers?

    Happy Heinys One Size Pocket Diapers are adjustable through snaps on the front, allowing you to lengthen or shorten the rise.

    Fuzzi Bunz One Size Pocket Diapers are adjustable through internal elastics with buttonholes (much like children’s pants or maternity pants), allowing you to customize waist and leg settings.

    They are both good brands of diapers.

  1. What is the difference between Velcro and Snaps?

    Velcro is easier to use, especially on a squirmy baby. It is daddy-, yaya- and grandparent-friendly. Velcro also allows you to get the perfect fit on your baby. However, Velcro wears out over time. It also tends to come undone in the washing machine and snag on other items. Also, as the baby grows older and more active, she can easily undo the Velcro and take off the diaper. Velcro can also rub on your baby’s tummy, causing discomfort.

    Snaps are more durable, won’t snag on other items, are harder for baby to take off, and won’t scratch her tummy. However, snaps can be a little confusing, and are harder to put on a squirming baby. Also, the diaper’s fit will be limited to the snap placement.

    Some people prefer Velcro, while others prefer snaps. It all boils down to personal preference.

  1. Do you offer warranty for the diapers?

    Yes, we do. If you find any problem with the diapers, please contact us and we will help you avail of the warranty.

Swim Diapers

  1. Will swim diapers hold liquid and get heavy?

    No. Swim diapers are designed to catch solids, not liquids. Healthy urine is sterile; there is no need to catch it.

Training Pants

  1. What is the difference between Happy Heinys Training Pants and Diaperaps Training Pants?

    Diaperaps Training Pants are suitable for daytime use only. They resemble underwear, with light padding and a waterproof layer. They will make your child feel the wetness, which will make potty-training easier.

    Happy Heinys Training Pants are basically the same as Happy Heinys Pocket Diapers, except they are constructed as pull-up pants. They are suitable for daytime and night-time use. Since they have a stay-dry fleece lining, it may be harder for your child to potty-train. To make your child feel the wetness, you may place a cotton fabric such as a small towel or a prefold on top of the liner.

Baby Carriers

  1. What is the difference between ring slings and pouches?

    A ring sling is a long piece of fabric with 2 rings attached to one end. You thread the fabric into the rings to create a pouch for the baby.

    A pouch is a piece of fabric sewn together into a tube. You fold the tube into half inside itself to create a pouch for the baby.

  1. What are the advantages/disadvantages of each?

    The main advantage of ring slings is their adjustability. They are infinitely adjustable and can accommodate a wide range of sizes and body types. You can also tighten or loosen specific parts of the sling, whether it be the top, the bottom or the middle. They are also very versatile, allowing 6 or more positions. Ring slings also allow you to easily and discreetly breastfeed your baby, by simply adjusting the rails to lower your baby to your breast, and use the tail as a cover. However, it takes a bit of practice to adjust the rails.

    The main advantage of pouches is their ease of use – you just put it on and go! And with the adjustable pouch, it can now also accommodate a range of sizes (although it is not as adjustable as a ring sling). The disadvantage of pouches is that it may be harder to breastfeed in it – although it is not impossible!

  1. Are baby carriers safe?

    Properly-designed baby carriers are safe, so long as you use them properly. Babywearing is not a new concept – it has been around for centuries, and different types of baby carriers have been used by different cultures around the world.
