“on HH [Happy Heinys] mama pads...i've been allergic to sanitary napkins, and have been thankful for the mama pads. no tampons for me! i've researched on those and i'm scared to use them, with all the diseases associated with its use. besides, using cloth products are the most eco-friendly option. HH mama pads are soft to the touch, and don't feel wet at all. it's easy to use, and easy to change. it's easy to wash as well!

on HH one-size diapers...as i'm allergic to sanitary napkins, i made sure that my baby doesn't have to experience diaper rashes and allergies. HH one-size diapers are best for me as the diapers adjust as my baby grows bigger. i don't easily get wet when i carry my baby, unlike when i use the regular cloth lampin. now that my baby knows how to crawl, he's so much into his one-size diapers: it's the first thing he crawls to on the bed! i tease him that the diapers are supposed to get wet or soiled by his wee-wee and poop, and not by his saliva!”

“I recently purchased the Earth Mama Angel Baby Nipple Butter from the site. The transaction itself was pretty straightforward, despite the minor change to my order due to my oversight. My order details were adjusted without delay, and after payment I received the item with no problem at all.

The product itself comes in a small, 60ml (2oz) jar. At first I was worried that this was not enough product, but once you start using/applying it, you'll realize that a little goes a long way :) So definitely, one small jar will be enough to last you while you're breastfeeding. The smell, while not offensive, could take some time to get used to - only because it doesn't contain any artificial fragrances. It has a basic scent, close to what olive oil (its main ingredient) smells like with hints of the shea and cocoa butter. Consistency-wise, it's on the runny side - tip the jar at an angle and it will drip. When applied, it leaves an oily residue though it doesn't leave a stain on clothing. I'm not breastfeeding yet (but pretty soon!) so I can't say much about how effective it is - but knowing that it's an all-natural product gives me some assurance that I'm using something that's good not just for me, but for my baby. :)”

"I gave birth last July 19 [2010] to a healthy baby girl so I've got my hands full :)

[Regarding the consistency] I brought the nipple butter to the hospital where it's colder and it turned semi-solid - sort of like gerber/cerelac consistency?

I'm happy with its efficacy. I use it after feeding and after applying an ice pack on the sore nipple. Storing the butter in the fridge (or somewhere cold) gives it a cooling effect as well when applied - which was a plus for me. :)

I've been using it since last week, every after feeding, and there's still a lot let in the jar. I think this is going to last me awhile!"
